Miss Keeleigh Griffith, 27, representing Barbados was crowned the First Miss Caribbean UK after stealing the show at The Tabernacle Notting Hill, with Miss Kimhia Toussaint, 21, representing St Lucia, and Miss Ayesha Williams, 21, representing Jamaica as 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.
“Setting up Miss Caribbean UK had been a dream of ours for nearly four years, as such; experiencing the reality of our dreams has been motivating!” said Clayton and Jacqui Brown, Organisers of Miss Caribbean UK along with Multi award winning choreographer. Reuben P Joseph in a statement.
“We wanted to make the Miss Caribbean UK pageant the final showpiece for all the Caribbean beauty pageants to present their pageant winners, and as such we knew we had to present an event which they would be proud to be associated with and which showed the potential to be worthy of them.”
“We have learned a massive amount from the experience and are eagerly looking forward to MCUK 2105, when we will have the opportunity to use what we have learned to improve on what is, as we have been told, already a fantastic production.”
