The London Hippodrome recently laid out the red carpet for the prestigious BEFFTA Awards.
BEFFTA (Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television, and Arts) held its 4th annual awards ceremony at the Hippodrome in recognition of the achievements of personalities such as Sir Trevor McDonald; who won the Lifetime Achievement Award and received a standing ovation from the audience of 3,000 people.

Oren Peli’s low-budget 2009 horror ‘Paranormal Activity’ was a welcome injection of adrenaline to the horror genre. Made for a reported 15,000 US dollars and shot in the Israeli-born film-maker’s home, the first film grossed almost 200 million US dollars worldwide, giving birth to a franchise that has churned out sequels at a rate of one film per year.
Girls Aloud: Ten - The Hits Tour 2013

After announcing their return, Girls Aloud have confirmed a second date at the LG Arena next year. The February 27 date is in added to the already-announced show on the 26th. The tour will see Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola and Sarah take to the stage to celebrate 10 years in music.
