BAFTA Award roundup

Well the BAFTA Awards have come and gone, and stealing the show this year was Gravity, taking a total of 6 awards, with American Hustle coming second with 3, and 12 Years a Slave and The Great Gatsby  with 2.

Gravity took home Best British Film, as well as Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron (above left) along with cinematography, best sound, original music and visual effects.

Cate Blanchett took Best Actress for her role in Blue Jasmine, and British star Chiwetel Ejiofor picked up the Best Actor award for playing Solomon Northup in 12 Years a Slave, having won the rising star award at the same show in 2006.
